At the Cholamandal Artists Village, its visionary founder K.C.S. Paniker inaugurated the exhibition of small-format artworks. Painters and sculptors of Cholamandal presented small-size works that contained all the artistic elements of their regular works. The small-format works became affordable and accessible to the common man and they became successful in taking contemporaneity and modernity in the arts to a wider public. Nandagopal's small format sculptures presented in this image gallery bring our attention to the intricate jewel-like details of Nandagopal's sculptures.
