Chetan Devangan is the chief disciple of the famous Pandvani singer Jhaduram Devangan. He is the senior most Pandvani singer. He is not only a Pandvani singer but a logist of oral traditions and especially, Pandvani. In this conversation, Chetan Devangan talks about the trajectory of Pandvani in the region of Chhattisgarh.
Pandvani literally means singing and enacting the stories and songs of the Pandavas. The Pandvani singer sings and enacts an episode from the Mahabharata (with variations).
